Simple Energy Arrive Family Electric Scooter To Debut On September 2

Simple Energy has announced that it will unveil its first family-oriented electric scooter, believed to be called the Arrive, on September 2. The launch of the Simple Arrive will mark the brand's entry into India's family scooter segment and the new scooter will be pitted against the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.

Simple Energy first spotted testing its upcoming family scooter in March 2026. Simple Energy says the model has been developed in-house and aims to tap India's largest scooter segment through everyday commuting appeal.

Spied test mules have shown off the Arrive adopting a rounded, conventional silhouette instead of the sharp, angular styling seen on the Simple One, OneS and Ultra. The more mainstream design of the Simple Arrive will help the brand target family buyers rather than the performance-focused riders the One range caters to.

Other details noticed on the include a flat single-piece seat, a centre stand and twin rear shock absorbers. The headlight is mounted on the apron, with a short wind deflector positioned above it.

The Arrive uses a front disc brake paired with a rear drum brake, a more cost-effective setup than the disc-at-both-ends configuration on the Simple One range. A front storage cubby is also part of the package.

A TFT display was seen on the test mule, hinting at connected functionality for the production scooter. Simple Energy has not revealed the Arrive's full specifications or features ahead of the September 2 unveiling.

Simple Energy is the first Indian two-wheeler manufacturer to commercially produce heavy rare-earth-free electric motors, and this technology is expected to make its way to the Arrive. The brand already offers a lifetime warranty on the motor and battery across its range.

Simple Energy currently retails the Simple One in the performance segment and recently introduced the Simple Ultra, which carries an IDC-certified range of 400km.
