Royal Enfield Scram 450 To Launch In 2027
Royal Enfield is working on a new Scram 450 (codenamed K2K), with a 2027 launch timeline, according to a report by Autocar India. The new Royal Enfield Scram 450 will slot between the Guerrilla 450 and Himalayan 450 in the brand's lineup, taking onn the Triumph Scrambler 400 range in the process.
Royal Enfield Scram 450 - Engine & Mechanical Bits
The Royal Enfield Scram 450 will draw its engine from the firm's existing 450cc platform. The Sherpa 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit produces 40.02 PS and 40 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield may rework the state of tune and final drive ratio for the Scram application.
Wheel sizes are expected to be 19-inch front and 17-inch rear - smaller than the Himalayan 450's setup, keeping seat height accessible. USD forks up front and a monoshock at the rear are reported, with suspension travel likely matching the Himalayan 450. Alloy and wire-spoke wheel options are expected, similar to the Scram 440.

The Scram 450 will carry familiar scrambler styling cues. A circular headlight, raised front fender, upswept exhaust, scooped single-piece seat, and side-mounted number boards are expected. Vibrant colour options with graphics are also on the cards.
Tech on board is expected to mirror the Himalayan 450's package. This includes a circular TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone pairing, and turn-by-turn navigation. Riding modes, switchable dual-channel ABS, and a slip-and-assist clutch are also anticipated.
Royal Enfield Scram 450 - Expected Price & Rivals
Positioned between the Guerrilla 450 (Rs 2.49-2.72 lakh) and Himalayan 450 (Rs 3.06-3.37 lakh), the Scram 450 is expected to be priced accordingly. Its primary rivals, the Triumph Scrambler 400 range, are currently priced between Rs 2.59 lakh and Rs 2.89 lakh. The Royal Enfield Scram 440, its immediate predecessor, was launched in 2025 as an update to the original 411cc model introduced in 2022.
