Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Crosses 6 Lakh Sales Milestone In Just Over Five Years

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has crossed a major global milestone, with over 6 lakh units sold worldwide since its launch in November 2020. The achievement comes just over five years after the motorcycle entered the market as the successor to the Thunderbird 350.

The Meteor 350 is part of Royal Enfield's modern 350cc lineup built on the J-platform, which also underpins models such as the Classic 350 and Hunter 350. Since its launch, the cruiser has been one of the brand's key products in the mid-size motorcycle segment.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Crosses 6 Lakh Sales Milestone

The Meteor 350 replaced the long-running Thunderbird series and introduced a completely new platform and engine architecture for Royal Enfield's 350cc motorcycles. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is powered by a 349cc single-cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox, producing around 20 bhp and 27 Nm of torque.

The Meteor 350 also introduced several modern features to Royal Enfield's cruiser lineup, including Tripper navigation, which integrates turn-by-turn navigation via a smartphone connection.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 - Styling Highlights

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 follows a traditional cruiser design theme with a low seat height, forward-set riding position and wide handlebars aimed at comfortable long-distance riding.

Key styling elements include a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round headlamp, sculpted fenders and a relaxed riding stance. The motorcycle is available in multiple variants, including Fireball, Stellar Aurora and Supernova, which differ mainly in features and paint schemes with prices ranging from ₹1,95,546 and ₹2,15,770 (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 - Global Sales Contribution

The Meteor 350 has been sold in India as well as international markets including Europe, North America and Southeast Asia. Its strong demand across multiple markets has helped the motorcycle cross the 6 lakh cumulative sales milestone since its introduction.

The Meteor 350 has played an important role in expanding Royal Enfield's presence in the global mid-size motorcycle segment, which the company defines as motorcycles between 250cc and 750cc.

The Meteor 350 forms part of Royal Enfield's J-platform family of 350cc motorcycles. This platform has helped the brand modernise its entry-level lineup while maintaining the classic styling and character that Royal Enfield motorcycles are known for. Along with the Classic 350, Hunter 350 and Bullet 350, the Meteor continues to contribute significantly to Royal Enfield's global sales volumes.
