Royal Enfield has announced that its popular highway cruiser, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, has crossed 6 lakh unit sales globally. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 - What Makes It A Favourite
The Meteor 350 remains one of the most popular motorcycles for touring and long-distance highway riding. Since its launch, the bike has gained immense popularity in both domestic and international markets, thanks to its comfortable ergonomics, refined engine and cruiser-style design. With strong demand across multiple regions, the mid-size cruiser has now surpassed the 6 lakh global sales milestone, marking a significant achievement for the brand.

Excellent Riding Posture
Royal Enfield remains a dominant player in the 350cc motorcycle segment, with every model in the lineup witnessing strong sales. The Meteor 350, in particular, is purpose-built for highway cruising. It features a low-slung seat and relaxed ergonomics, offering superior comfort for long rides. The motorcycle also gets wide handlebars, which further enhance the riding posture and help riders cover long distances with minimal fatigue.
Refined Powertrain
Powering the Meteor 350 is a 349cc single-cylinder, air-cooled J-series engine that produces 20.2 PS of power and 27 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and comes equipped with a slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts. The powertrain is tuned to deliver strong low-end and mid-range performance, making it ideal for effortless overtakes and relaxed highway cruising.

Modern Tech and Safety
In terms of features, the Meteor 350 offers All-LED lighting, Type-C USB charging, adjustable levers, a floating digital-analogue instrument cluster with Tripper navigation, aluminium tubeless-spoke wheels, and dual-channel ABS, making it one of the best-equipped motorcycles in its category. It successfully blends classic cruiser styling with modern technology and a refined powertrain, making it appealing to a wide range of riders.
Accessible Pricing
In the Indian market, the Meteor 350 lacks a direct rival. Other motorcycles in the segment include the Yezdi Roadster, Honda CB350, Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise, and Benelli Imperiale 400. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is currently priced from ₹1.95 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a highly attractive and competitive option in the mid-size cruiser segment.
