Royal Enfield Plans 18-Model Push In FY2027 - 5 New Bikes Including 750cc Lineup
Royal Enfield is preparing its sharpest product intervention in years, with five all-new models and 13 updates to its existing lineup planned for FY2027. The push comes as global and domestic rivals intensify their presence in India's mid-size motorcycle segment.
Autocar Professional has learned that the five confirmed new models for FY2027 will be the new Bullet 650, Himalayan 440 (going back to og offroader route), Continental GT750, Himalayan 750 (both with the new 750cc twin), and Scram 450 (Scram with the Sherpa engine).

Entering the 750cc Class
The Continental GT750 and Himalayan 750 mark the brand's entry into a higher displacement class, beyond its current 650 Twin platform. The 750cc models represent a deliberate step into the premium segment and create a clear upgrade path for the brand's large base of 350cc buyers.
Royal Enfield's 650 Twin range currently commands over 90% share in India's 500-800cc motorcycle segment, which recorded annual volumes of around 48,000 units. That segment remains nascent compared to global markets, with Honda, Suzuki, Triumph, and Kawasaki as the other active players.

Competition Heating Up
Harley-Davidson, Triumph, and Honda are expanding in the premium space, while Hero MotoCorp and TVS Motor Company are also moving up the ladder. Bajaj Auto's Triumph partnership has directly entered Royal Enfield's 350cc core territory with new model launches. Despite rising competition, Royal Enfield has outpaced the broader motorcycle market in recent years, with its 350cc range continuing to anchor volumes.
EV Entry
Alongside its ICE expansion, Royal Enfield has already launched the Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle, priced at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Unveiled at EICMA 2024 under the Flying Flea sub-brand, the C6 will be followed by the scrambler-styled S6 as the second EV in the initial lineup.
Royal Enfield FY2026 Performance & FY2027 Targets
Royal Enfield's total dispatches crossed 1.2 million units in FY2026 for the first time, with production climbing 23% year-on-year to 12.4 lakh units. Domestic sales accounted for approximately 11.07 lakh units, while exports scaled to over 1.3 lakh units.
For FY2027, the company targets production of 1.32 million units and is aiming for double-digit domestic market growth to sustain the momentum.
