Ultraviolette EV CEO Appreciates Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6
Before its launch, it was given to enthusiasts and journalists for test rides and reviews. One such enthusiast was Bengaluru-based startup Ultraviolette Automotive's CEO, Narayan Subramaniam, who was very keen on riding the iconic brand's first-ever electric-powered motorcycle. After riding it, Mr Narayan shared his thoughts about the vehicle on his Instagram page through a post.

In that, he stated: "Woohoo.. Welcome to the club, @royalenfield - a serious step into electric motorcycles with the Flying Flea. Fun, well-balanced, and built with intent. Congrats to @sidlal and the team - this is how the ecosystem moves forward. Cheers to an exciting future." He also posted a picture of the Flying Flea C6 alongside the Ultraviolette X47. He wrote, "We are flying electric! The @royalenfield Flying Flea joins us for a ride about town."
It is very uncommon for a CEO to appreciate a product from a fellow competitor, especially in a highly competitive Indian EV market. This shows how people are enthusiastic about testing and welcoming new products in a growing EV segment.

Flying Flea C6 Legacy
The Flying Flea C6 is the first of many motorcycles to arrive from the brand. Royal Enfield is an iconic brand that has 125 years of history in manufacturing motorcycles. The Flying Flea is one of the very first models they built during the World War II period.
Now, they have decided to bring back that iconic model in an EV form. It is to be followed by the scrambler-type S6 later this year. This C6 is a daily commuter that offers a 3.91 kWh battery pack that claims a maximum range of 154 km on a single charge and a maximum speed of 115 km.

It also comes with advanced connectivity features, a TFT display, wireless charging, riding modes, cruise control, and old-school components like the Girder fork. With BaaS the Flying Flea C6 can be bought at just 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
