Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 Spotted Testing In India- Bigger Engine & Better Ergonomics
The upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 has been spotted testing in Chennai. According to a report by BikeDekho, the motorcycle was seen wearing black camouflage and is expected to be showcased in production-ready form at the EICMA 2026 event.

The new GT 750 appears very similar to the existing Continental GT 650 in terms of overall design. However, it is expected to feature a more powerful engine with power outputs around 50 PS and 60 Nm of torque. The motorcycle is likely to use a larger version of the oil/air-cooled engine currently seen in the 650 platform.

At the rear, the fender and subframe appear taller and more upswept compared to the GT 650. The seat also looks more pillion-friendly, better than the current model. The riding position remains sporty and aggressive, with rear-set footpegs and clip-on handlebars. These are typical characteristics of a café racer motorcycle.
The motorcycle could feature an adjustable suspension setup, with twin rear shock absorbers offering preload adjustment. With the increase in power, the GT 750 may also come with improved braking hardware, including twin front disc brakes and a single rear disc brake.
The spy shots suggest the bike may feature alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. It may also feature a single-pod instrument cluster, similar to the one seen on the Himalayan 450, replacing the twin-pod semi-digital unit found on the current GT 650.

The upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 could debut at the EICMA 2026 event or at Royal Enfield Motoverse, which is scheduled later in 2026. The company is expected to launch the new 750cc Continental GT by early 2027.
Royal Enfield is also planning to introduce an updated Continental GT 650 this year, which means the 750 is unlikely to replace the existing model. Instead, it could sit above the 650 in the lineup, targeting premium buyers and export markets.
