Wheel and finish choices for the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 are now split along two lines rather than colour alone. Royal Enfield Continental GT 650: Engine And Chassis

Power for the 2026 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 as always comes from the firm's 648cc air-and oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, which remains unchanged from before and pushes out 47hp at 7,150rpm and 52.3Nm of torque at 5,250rpm. Power goes through a six-speed gearbox tuned for the relaxed, torque-led delivery associated with the Continental GT, to the rear wheel via a chain drive setup.

The chassis of the 2026 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is unchanged as well. The steel tubular double-cradle frame developed in collaboration with Harris Performance is paired with telescopic front forks and gas-charged twin rear shock absorbers to help the bike deal with the rough stuff.

Royal Enfield has also retained the sculpted fuel tank, committed riding position and vintage silhouette that trace back to the original cafe racers of the 1950s and 60s with the updated Continental GT 650.
