The mid-size motorcycle segment is dominated by Royal Enfield, and its 350cc motorcycles are extremely popular in India. Among them, the Classic 350 remains the best-selling retro motorcycle in the country.

Now, the brand has introduced new rider-focused enhancements to elevate the riding experience of the Classic 350. The motorcycle now gets an assist and slipper clutch system, which lightens the clutch action and enables smoother, more effortless gear shifts, making city commutes and long-distance rides more comfortable.

Royal Enfield has also added a new USB Type-C fast-charging port, allowing riders to keep their smartphones charged while using navigation for extended periods and stay connected throughout the journey.

The Classic 350 continues to be powered by the same 349cc J-series air-cooled engine, producing 20.2 bhp of power and 27 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is smooth, more refined and brings the same signature thumping exhaust note through the single pea shooter exhaust system.

The upright riding posture makes the motorcycle extremely comfortable for riders. It also features a well-balanced twin downtube spine frame chassis, developed to tackle rough roads as well as highways while offering excellent handling and braking efficiency.

Suspension duties are handled by a 41mm telescopic front fork with 130mm of travel and twin-tube rear shock absorbers with six-step preload adjustability and 90mm of travel. The kerb weight remains 195 kg, while the 13-litre fuel tank makes the motorcycle suitable for a variety of riding conditions.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is priced from Rs 1.87 lakh (ex-showroom), and these new rider-focused enhancements are available on the dual-channel ABS variants. The Classic 350 rivals motorcycles such as the Honda CB350, Jawa 42, Yezdi Roadster, and Triumph Speed 400.
