Omega Seiki Mobility Vextra Launched At ₹99,900 - 110km Range
Omega Seiki Mobility has launched the Vextra electric scooter in India at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom), marking the company's entry into the fast-speed personal electric two-wheeler segment.
The Omega Seiki Mobility Vextra is powered by a 3 kW BLDC hub motor paired with a 3.45 kWh LMFP battery pack, offering a claimed real-world riding range of over 110 km on a single charge and a top speed of 70 km/h.
Charging support includes fast home charging, with the battery capable of charging from 0 to 80 per cent in around four hours and a full charge taking close to five hours using a household charger.
The Omega Seiki Mobility Vextra scooter features three riding modes - Eco, City and Sports - enabling riders to optimise performance or efficiency based on conditions. The Vextra offers a gradeability of 12 degrees, aimed at maintaining performance on urban gradients and flyovers.
Instrumentation comes in the form of a 3.5-inch colour LCD display showing speed, state of charge and remaining range, while connectivity options include USB charging, reverse parking assist and optional GSM connectivity.
Safety and electrical systems include a Combined Braking System (CBS), an AIS-156 compliant battery management system, and IP67-rated motor and battery components designed for water and dust resistance.
Manufacturing of the Vextra will take place at Omega Seiki Mobility's Faridabad facility, which has an annual production capacity of 25,000 units set aside for the Vextra, with sales supported through a network of over 200 dealerships across Tier-I, II and III cities in India.
The launch expands Omega Seiki Mobility's electric two-wheeler portfolio beyond commercial vehicles into the personal mobility segment, with plans to export the Vextra to select international markets.
