Ola Roadster Price Slashed by ₹60,000 – 500km Range EV Now Cheaper To Buy
Ola Electric has reduced the price of its Roadster by ₹60,000, making it more accessible to mass buyers. This price drop is available for a limited period and applies to its flagship model equipped with a 9.1 kWh battery pack.
Ola Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh Variant Prices Reduced
Bengaluru-based Ola Electric manufactures EV scooters and motorcycles using indigenously developed 4680 Bharat battery cells. This not only reduces dependence on imported battery cells but also helps lower the overall cost of the vehicle.

The EV scooter segment currently holds more than 95% market share in the electric two-wheeler space. However, only a few options are available in the EV motorcycle segment, and the Roadster stands out as one of the most compelling choices for buyers considering an electric bike.
To boost its sales, the brand has announced a limited-time offer for its Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh variant. The first sales window opens on Friday, April 3, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with additional windows to be announced based on production and availability.

The Ola Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh is one of the high-performance electric two-wheelers in the country, offering a claimed range of over 500 km per charge and a top speed of 125 km/h. It is now available at a reduced price of ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), down from ₹1.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Ola Electric stated, "As production of our 4680 Bharat Cell scales, we can unlock significant cost efficiencies and pass them on directly to customers. The response to the Roadster has been extremely strong-the bike demand during our #EndICEAge campaign has grown more than 5X, and this new pricing makes long-range electric mobility even more accessible."

To meet rising battery demand, the company has ramped up production of its 4680 Bharat cells, which are fully designed and manufactured in India. Ola is also expanding its Gigafactory, aiming to scale capacity to 6 GWh.
Recently, Ola announced that it recorded over 150% month-on-month growth, reaching 10,117 units. The company is now focusing on improving its service network and enhancing overall customer experience. These efforts align with its broader goal of reducing crude oil imports and building a strong domestic EV ecosystem.
