Ola Electric Sales Surge 150% – Crosses 1 Million Registrations in India!
Ola Electric has registered an impressive 150% growth in March 2026. Additionally, the brand has crossed 1 million cumulative registrations in the Indian market, making it the first EV company in India to achieve this milestone.
Ola Electric Grows 150% MOM in March 2026
Indian startup Ola Electric announced that it recorded 10,117 unit registrations in March 2026, marking a sharp increase from 3,973 units in February. This surge represents a 150% month-on-month growth, along with a notable rise in market share as the company regains momentum.

This growth is largely attributed to structural improvements in service operations. The company claims that over 80% of its vehicles are now serviced on the same day, supported by faster diagnostics, improved parts availability, and tighter operational control across the country.
Ola Electric had previously faced challenges related to service quality, which impacted its sales performance. The brand is now focusing on enhancing customer experience and rebuilding trust. Ola Electric has lost its number 1 position to TVS last year and now they are on track in retaining the status.

A company spokesperson said, "We are seeing a clear inflection in demand, with daily orders scaling steadily through March and accelerating significantly in the final weeks. This momentum is being driven by structural improvements in our service operations, delivering faster turnaround times and a significantly better ownership experience. As customer confidence strengthens, we are witnessing stronger conversions across our portfolio, giving us confidence that this recovery will sustain and scale further."
Crosses 1 Million EV Registrations
One of the biggest highlights is that the brand has now crossed 1 million registrations, becoming the first EV company in India to reach this milestone. Ola has played a key role in shaping India's EV ecosystem, particularly with its S1 series scooters.

To sustain this growth, Ola Electric has launched the #EndICEAge campaign, encouraging consumers to shift from ICE-powered vehicles to EVs, reducing pollution and dependence on fossil fuels. The company is also offering industry-first ownership benefits, including a service trust guarantee with complimentary Ola cab rides in case of delays, a buyback guarantee with assured value, and an 8-year extended warranty across its lineup to boost customer confidence.
Currently, Ola's portfolio includes the S1 series scooters and the Roadster electric motorcycle. These models offer advanced features and a claimed range of up to 320 km per charge, making them among the most competitive offerings in the segment.
