Oben Rorr Evo Launched At ₹99,999 - 180km IDC Range, 9kW Motor

Oben Electric has launched the Rorr Evo electric motorcycle in India at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom), valid for the first 10,000 customers. After that, the price for the Obern Rorr Evo rises to Rs 1.25 lakh.

The Oben Rorr Evo shares parts and features with the Rorr EZ Sigma. The Rorr Evo uses a streetfighter silhouette with sharp body panels. Four colour options are on offer: red, blue, white, and black.

Oben Rorr Evo - Motor & Battery

A 9 kW (12bhp) peak motor and 3.4 kWh LFP battery pack power the Rorr Evo, with wheel torque rated at 250 Nm. The Oben Rorr's top speed is 110 km/h and it can sprint from 0-40 km/h in just 3 seconds.

IDC range is claimed at 180 km. The battery is IP67-rated, the motor IP68-rated, and Oben backs the pack with an 8-year warranty. Fast charging from 0-80 per cent takes 90 minutes.

Oben Rorr Evo - Chassis & Hardware

The Rorr Evo runs a chain drive setup, uncommon among electric motorcycles. The Oben Rorr suspension setup features telescopic front forks and a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock. Disc brakes on both ends(270mm) with a unified braking system handle stopping duties.The Oben Rorr Evo rides on 17-inch wheels (Front: 110/70, Rear 130/70).

Ground clearance on the Oben Rorr Evo is 200mm; kerb weight is 140 kg and the seat height is 780mm. The 680mm long seat is designed for both rider and pillion comfort and storage comprises 4 litres at the tank area and 6 litres under the seat.

Oben Rorr Evo - Features & Tech

The Oben Rorr's dash is a 5-inch colour TFT display. Lighting is full LED with a projector headlamp and DRL. Four riding modes are available: Eco, City, and two performance-oriented modes, along with reverse mode and range optimisation.

Connected features on the Oben Rorr Evo include navigation, call, text and music alerts, ride statistics and history, live tracking via Find My Rorr, and remote diagnostics. Safety tech covers geo-fencing, theft protection, remote immobilisation, fall alert, and a driver alert system.
