Oben Electric’s Rorr Evo Sets New Benchmark With 25,000 Bookings In 15 Days

Oben Electric, one of India's fastest-growing electric motorcycle manufacturers, has announced that its newly launched Oben Rorr Evo has crossed an impressive 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of launch. This milestone sets a new benchmark for demand in India's rapidly expanding electric motorcycle segment.

The Rorr Evo receives overwhelming response marking a significant milestone not only for Oben Electric but also for the broader electric motorcycle market in India. It stands among the fastest bookings ever recorded in this segment, highlighting the growing acceptance of electric motorcycles among Indian consumers.

What makes this achievement even more noteworthy is Oben Electric's strong delivery services. The company currently operates more than 150 showrooms and dedicated service centres across over 100 cities in 18 states. Each outlet is supported by specialized service centres under the Oben Care program, which boasts an industry-leading customer satisfaction score (CSAT) of 91 percent.

This reflects the brand's strong focus on reliability, customer service and long-term ownership confidence. To further strengthen its retail footprint, Oben Electric has announced plans to open 200 additional exclusive showrooms by the end of FY2027.

The bengaluru based startup also has expansion plans in its integrated manufacturing facility, where it develops and produces key EV components in-house, including LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units, chargers and proprietary software systems. The facility currently has an annual production capacity of 1 lakh motorcycles, allowing the company to meet the rising demand.

Bookings Open At Introductory Price

The Oben Rorr Evo is being offered at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers, after which the price increases to ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom). Oben Electric has opened the payment portal on its official website, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in June 2026.

Oben Rorr Evo Performance specs & Features

The Rorr Evo delivers an impressive combination of performance and practicality. It is powered by Oben Electric's proprietary IPMSM motor, which produces a peak power output of 9 kW and 250 Nm of wheel torque. The motor is IP68-rated, free from heavy rare earth materials, 40 percent more compact than its predecessor and delivers 20 percent more power.

Battery and Range

The motorcycle is equipped with a 3.4 kWh LFP battery pack that offers an IDC-certified range of 180 km on a single charge. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 110 km/h. Fast charging allows the battery to be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 90 minutes, and it is backed by an 8-year battery warranty.

Additional highlights include the segment's longest seat, 10 litres of storage space, a 5-inch colour TFT display, OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilisation and fall detection with emergency SOS. The motorcycle also features SmartIQ, Oben Electric's AI-powered ride optimization technology, which can improve range by up to 15 percent through its proprietary ARGUS connected platform.
