Oben Electric Teases New EV Bike – F77 Rival Launching April 30

Oben Electric will unveil its next product on April 30, 2026. The company has teased this upcoming EV motorcycle on its official social media channels. Electric motorcycle segment is slowly gaining traction in the Indian market and Oben electric is one of the key players.

Their Oben Rorr is one of the best-selling EV commuter motorcycles in the country. Now, the company is gearing up for its next big launch, which is speculated to be a sporty EV motorcycle with aggressive performance and superior range, potentially rivalling the Ultraviolette F77.

Oben Electric Teases New EV Vehicle

This teaser shows some glimpses, including LED DRLs, a projector headlamp, neo-retro-inspired design, and an aggressive overall styling. This performance-oriented motorcycle is expected to strengthen its presence in the EV two-wheeler segment.

However, we expect this motorcycle to be priced on the higher side compared to its current lineup. The exact details of the motorcycle are not yet known and will be revealed during the launch event.

Currently, Oben Electric has three different motorcycles, which include the Rorr EZ Sigma, Rorr EZ, and Rorr. The Oben Rorr starts at ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and claims a maximum range of 187 km, with a top speed of 100 km/h.

The Rorr EZ, priced at ₹99,999 (ex-showroom), claims a maximum range of 175 km and has a top speed of 95 km/h, while the EZ Sigma, priced at ₹1.09 lakh (ex-showroom), claims a maximum range of 140 km.

The battery options include 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh battery packs. Some of its key highlights include Driver Alert System (DAS), theft protection (geo-fencing), IP67 battery rating, GPS, ride analytics, smartphone connectivity, and remote diagnostics.

Oben Electric is clearly looking to step beyond the commuter space and enter the performance-oriented EV motorcycle segment. With this upcoming model, the brand is aiming to challenge established players like the Ultraviolette F77.
