LiveWire S4 Honcho Electric Mini-Bikes Launched Globally - 84km Range, $4,999 Starting Price

LiveWire Group has commenced production of the S4 Honcho Trail and S4 Honcho Street, two 125cc-equivalent electric mini-motorcycles marking the brand's entry into the lightweight segment. First presented as concepts at Harley-Davidson Homecoming in Milwaukee and EICMA in Milan, both models are now production-ready.

Priced from USD 4,999, the first units are expected at authorised LiveWire retail locations this summer, with broader global availability continuing through the remainder of 2026. No India launch has been confirmed.

Both the S4 Honcho Trail and Street top out at 95 kmph and sprint from 0 to 48 kmph in 3.0 seconds. Reverse is standard on both variants.

The Trail weighs 115kg while the Street tips the scales at 121kg, with seat heights of 813mm and 787mm respectively. Both models ride on 12-inch wheels.

Both models draw power from a dual removable battery setup with a combined capacity of 3.48 kWh. WMTC-certified range stands at up to 85 km, or 117 km at a constant 32 km/h.

The batteries can be detached from the motorcycle for off-bike charging and replenish from 20 to 80 percent in approximately two hours on a standard 110V outlet.

The Trail and Street carry distinct styling and purpose-built ergonomics for their respective roles. The Trail targets light off-road use while the Street is built around urban commuting and daily mobility.

Both models qualify for A1 licences in Europe and the UK and standard motorcycle endorsements in the US, broadening LiveWire's global addressable market. Each launches with a growing accessories catalogue for personalisation.

The platform is aimed at new riders, urban commuters, RV travellers, and adventure-minded consumers. The removable batteries also suit apartment dwellers and frequent travellers without access to dedicated charging infrastructure.

The S4 Honcho range is produced by Taiwanese firm KYMCO under a partnership with LiveWire, with distribution handled through Harley-Davidson's international dealer network. Production commenced in late May 2026.
