Planning To Buy A KTM? Prices Could Increase From June 1
KTM India is expected to increase the prices of its motorcycles starting from June 1, 2026. The upcoming price hike is likely to affect almost the entire lineup, beginning from the entry-level 160cc motorcycles all the way up to the larger 390 series models.
KTM Price Hike Expected From June 2026
Premium performance motorcycle brand KTM currently dominates several sport motorcycle categories in India with products like the KTM Duke, KTM RC, and KTM Adventure lineup.
The company offers motorcycles across multiple segments starting from the entry-level 160cc category to the mid-range 250cc models and the premium 390 range, which remains one of the most popular performance motorcycle platforms in India.

Recently, KTM revised its lineup strategy after GST 2.0 implementation, where several brands began repositioning motorcycles under lower-capacity categories for better pricing benefits. However, unlike brands such as Triumph Motorcycles and Bajaj-Triumph models that moved toward the sub-350cc category, KTM has continued to retain the original 390cc performance-focused platform for its premium motorcycles.
Now, the company is reportedly preparing for a price hike across its lineup due to increasing manufacturing expenses, rising raw material costs, and higher operational expenses affecting the motorcycle industry globally.
Interestingly, Triumph Motorcycles, which also operates in partnership with Bajaj Auto, was recently reported to be planning a similar price increase starting this June. KTM motorcycles continue to remain extremely popular among young Indian riders, especially enthusiasts purchasing their first performance-oriented motorcycle.
To attract a wider range of buyers and strengthen competition against models like the Yamaha YZF-R15, KTM recently expanded its entry-level lineup with the introduction of the 160cc Duke and RC motorcycles.
These motorcycles are expected to play a major role in helping KTM compete more aggressively in the affordable entry-level sport bike segment while maintaining the brand's sporty image and performance-focused character in the Indian market.
