1. Hero MotoCorp
India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, once again topped the sales chart in January 2026. The company recorded total sales of 4,92,167 units last month, securing a 26.56% market share. Hero remains popular among budget-conscious buyers, particularly in the commuter motorcycle segment.
2. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India
Japanese giant Honda continues to dominate the scooter segment, with the Activa remaining a key volume driver for the brand over the years. The company sold 4,72,938 units in January 2026, achieving a 25.52% market share.

3. TVS Motor Company
Indian manufacturer TVS Motor Company secured the third position with sales of 3,64,241 units and a 19.66% market share. The company maintains a strong presence in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric two-wheeler segments, with the iQube emerging as one of India's most popular electric scooters.
4. Bajaj Auto
Bajaj Auto continues to perform strongly across both conventional and electric two-wheeler segments. The company sold 1,95,752 units in January 2026, capturing a 10.56% market share. Its Chetak electric scooters are gaining steady popularity in the EV category.

5. Royal Enfield (Eicher Group)
Eicher Group-owned Royal Enfield surpassed one million unit sales last year. In January 2026, the brand sold 1,06,398 units, holding a 5.74% market share. Despite focusing only on motorcycles above 350cc, Royal Enfield maintains a dominant position in India's premium motorcycle segment.
6. Suzuki Motorcycle India
Suzuki had a solid sales growth compared to last year, with total sales reaching 98,899 units in January 2026 and a 5.34% market share. Models like the Access 125 and Gixxer series continue to perform well, while premium offerings such as the Hayabusa, V-Strom 800DE, and GSX-8R are also popular among elite customers.

7. Yamaha Motor India
Yamaha ranked seventh with sales of 64,399 units last month, securing a 3.48% market share. Popular models such as the MT-15 and R15 continue to attract buyers. The brand's product lineup has seen limited updates in recent years. The recent launch of the XSR 155 is expected to support future sales growth.
8. Classic Legends
Mahindra-owned Classic Legends, which sells Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA motorcycles in India, recorded sales of 4,940 units last month, gaining a 0.27% market share. The brand competes directly with Royal Enfield in the premium motorcycle segment and has shown improvement in gaining market share compared to last year.
