Ignyte Carbon Fiber Series: Shell and Design
The Ignyte Carbon Fiber Series uses an advanced carbon fiber composite shell across all three helmets, developed to improve structural strength, impact performance and durability without adding weight. Ignyte has paired this carbon composite shell with exposed, multi-colour carbon fiber textures, which is a first for the segment.
The exposed carbon weave is retained across the finishes to preserve the authentic carbon fiber weave look. Every shell is produced using an advanced balloon moulding process. The moulding process is followed by structured testing and validation before the helmets reach production.
Ignyte Carbon Fiber Series: Safety Liner and Reinforcement
Beneath the shell of the Ignyte Carbon Fiber Series helmets sits an Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) liner combined with Kevlar reinforcement, a setup built for stronger energy absorption and multi-impact capability. Unlike conventional EPS liners, EPP carries elastic memory that lets it recover its shape after lower-severity impacts.
This recovery property allows the liner of the Ignyte Carbon Fiber Series helmets to keep offering protection through repeated minor knocks, rather than deforming permanently after a single impact. The Kevlar reinforcement adds structural strength to the shell, working alongside the EPP liner to support long-term durability.
Every helmet in the Ignyte Carbon Fiber Series carries dual ISI and DOT certification, meeting both domestic and international safety standards. The visor is optical-grade with anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings for consistent visibility in changing conditions.
Precision-engineered ventilation channels are built into the shells of the Ignyte Carbon Fiber Series helmets to improve airflow, while the interior uses multifunctional antimicrobial padding for hygiene. Ignyte has also given the helmets an aerodynamic profile aimed at improving stability during high-speed rides.
Kashish Kapur, Director at Steelbird Hi-Tech India, said: "The IGNYTE Carbon Fiber Series represents our vision of creating premium helmets that combine world-class safety, advanced materials, and exceptional craftsmanship. Every helmet has been designed and manufactured in-house with a strong focus on innovation, lightweight performance, and rider protection. With this launch, we are taking another significant step towards offering Indian motorcyclists globally competitive products that deliver the highest standards of safety and performance."
