Honda Shine 125 Limited Edition Unveiled - Pearl Siren Blue Colour, New Graphics, Pyrite Brown Alloy Wheels

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has listed the Shine 125 Limited Edition on its official website ahead of a commercial launch, presenting a visually updated version based on the existing Shine 125 disc-brake variant for the Indian market.

The Honda Shine 125 Limited Edition is distinguished by a Pearl Siren Blue colour scheme with revised tank graphics, chrome front visor, accented side covers and Pyrite Brown alloy wheels, marking it apart from the standard Shine 125 options available in six colours.

Mechanically, the Shine 125 Limited Edition retains the BS6-compliant 123.94 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which produces approximately 10.8 PS of power and 11 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox carried over from the base Shine 125 model.

The Limited Edition version continues to utilise the 240 mm front disc brake, similar to the top-end Shine 125 Disc variant, and maintains its dimensions, weight, and core underpinnings, including telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks, and standard commuter geometry.

Standard equipment carried forward into this Limited Edition includes LCD instrumentation, idling stop-start system, silent starter and a USB-C charging port, features introduced on the Shine 125 earlier in its lifecycle.

Honda has not announced official pricing or exact launch dates for the Shine 125 Limited Edition. The new limited edition version of the Honda Shine 125 is expected to carry a small premium over the current Disc variant's ex-showroom price of around Rs 85,211 in Delhi.

The existing Shine 125 commuter motorcycle line competes in India's 125 cc segment, featuring a dependable engine and commuter-oriented package that has sustained the Shine brand's presence since its introduction.

Honda's introduction of limited and special editions across its two-wheeler range, including bikes like the Shine 125 Limited Edition and scooters like the Dio 125 X Edition, follows a broader trend of cosmetically changed variants by other two-wheeler manufacturers that aim to refresh model interest without altering mechanical configurations.
