Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Returns To India - Launched At Rs 33.50 Lakh

Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Honda has relaunched the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP in India at Rs 33.50 lakh, ex-showroom. The flagship supersport re-enters as part of a broader BigWing portfolio update that also brings the CB750 Hornet E-Clutch, XL750 Transalp E-Clutch and a new colour for the Gold Wing.

The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP had briefly returned to India in September 2025 at Rs 28.99 lakh before being pulled from Honda's website just months later, alongside the Rebel 500. It's now back on sale with specifications entirely unchanged but at a Rs 4.51 lakh premium over that previous stint.

The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is built around a twin-spar aluminium diamond frame with a long swingarm derived from the unit on Honda's RC213V-S MotoGP machine. That carry-over underpins the bike's focus on high-speed stability.

An electronically adjustable Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 NPX USD fork handles the front end suspension duties, while an Öhlins TTX36 rear monoshock manages the rear. Both units are adjustable on the fly through the bike's electronics interface. Brembo Stylema R calipers clamp twin 330mm front discs at the front, with a 220mm disc at the rear providing the stopping power.
