Hero Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition Launched At Rs 1.16 Lakh With TFT Display & TPMS

The Hero Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition has been launched in India at Rs 1,16,250 (ex-showroom). It sits at the top of the Xtreme 125R range and is the only variant with a colour TFT display.

Hero MotoCorp has also added a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an exclusive colour scheme to this variant. No other Xtreme 125R gets either, and Hero claims the TPMS is a first in the sporty 125cc segment.

Hero Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition - Features

The 4.2-inch TFT cluster is the same unit used on the Xtreme 160R, Xtreme 250R Carbon and Xpulse 210. It replaces the simpler digital display found on the other Xtreme 125R variants.

Pair a smartphone with the display through Hero's app over Bluetooth and it shows turn-by-turn navigation prompts, call and SMS alerts. Music playback can be controlled from the screen too.

The TPMS gives real-time tyre pressure readings and alerts the rider when pressure needs attention.

The Stealth Edition gets an exclusive paint finish and red alloy wheels. Red highlights also appear on the pillion grab rails, the tank extension panels and the X in the Xtreme badging, while the overall design is unchanged.

Hero Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition - Engine, Price & Rivals

The Hero Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition runs the same 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the other variants. It makes 11.4hp at 8,250rpm and 10.5Nm at 6,500rpm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Three riding modes, Rain, Road and Sport, carry over along with dual-channel ABS and cruise control.

At Rs 1,16,250, the Hero Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition costs roughly Rs 6,000 more than the dual-channel ABS variant, which is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh. The extra money buys the TFT display, TPMS and the exclusive livery.
