IPL 2026 Special! Hero Vida VX2 Plus Knight Edition EV Launched At ₹1.16 Lakh
Hero MotoCorp has launched the Vida VX2 Plus Knight Edition in India at ₹1.16 lakh (ex-showroom). Inspired by the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team, this limited-edition electric scooter brings exclusive styling and theme-based elements, making it a special offering for fans ahead of the upcoming IPL 2026 season.
Hero Vida VX2 Plus Knight Edition Launched
With the IPL 2026 season just around the corner, Hero MotoCorp has introduced this special edition of the Vida VX2 Plus EV scooter. Inspired by the KKR franchise, the Knight Edition features exclusive theme-based decals and signature styling. Notably, Vida is the official title partner of the three-time IPL-winning team. The scooter was showcased during the Knights Unplugged 3.0 event in the presence of team captain Ajinkya Rahane, vice-captain Rinku Singh, and CEO Venky Mysore.
The Vida VX2 Plus Knight Edition has special decals at the front, including the KKR emblem and a gold halftone gradient inspired by the team's jersey. It is offered exclusively in a Pearl Black colour scheme, with purple accents across the body. A unique three-stripe accent highlights the team's three IPL championship titles. Additionally, buyers will receive a limited-edition KKR-themed helmet finished in purple & gold.
Hero Vida VX2 Plus Specs
Mechanically, the scooter remains unchanged as it is based on the top-spec variant. It is powered by a twin removable 3.4 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 142 km. The scooter has a top speed of 80 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.0 seconds.
At the front, it features LED headlamps and DRLs for improved visibility. Other highlights include a 4.2-inch TFT display with connected features, including turn-by-turn navigation, SOS alerts, and call and music controls.
In terms of practicality, it offers 27.2 litres of under-seat storage along with an additional front storage (frunk) for smaller items. The standard Vida VX2 Plus is priced at ₹94,800 (ex-showroom), while this limited-edition model commands a premium at ₹1.16 lakh (ex-showroom). It is expected to be available throughout the IPL 2026 season.
