Hero Vida VX2 Plus Knight Edition Teased Ahead Of IPL 2026 – Exclusive EV For KKR Fans
World's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, is gearing up to launch the Vida VX2 Plus Knight Edition electric scooter ahead of the IPL 2026 season. As the official partner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, this special edition model pays tribute to the team's legacy and strong fan following.
Hero Vida VX2 Plus Knight Edition Teased
Hero has now dropped the first teaser, giving a glimpse of this KKR-inspired electric scooter. This version retains the same overall design as the standard Vida VX2 Plus but features new decals and distinctive graphics for a more premium appeal.
Key highlights from the teaser include a 'Limited Edition' badge along with the Kolkata Knight Riders logo positioned at the front, just above the LED headlamps and DRLs. The scooter also features new gold-themed decals inspired by the team's jersey, visible on both the front and rear sections.
Additionally, the under-seat area features purple accents along its edges, complementing the scooter's pearl black paint scheme. This Knight Edition is expected to be exclusive and could be available only until the end of the IPL 2026 season.
Hero Vida VX2 Plus EV Key Specs
In terms of performance, it offers a claimed IDC range of 142 km and a top speed of 80 km/h. The scooter features a removable battery system, and can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in just 62 minutes. Using a standard AC charger, a full charge takes approximately 4 hours and 13 minutes.
Feature highlights include a 4.2-inch TFT display with connected technology such as turn-by-turn navigation, remote vehicle status, real-time trip analysis, geo-fencing, live location tracking, SOS alerts, and controls for calls, SMS, and music. Most of these features are accessible through the optional Edge Pack.
Other notable features include reverse mode, front disc brakes, 27.2-litre under-seat storage, an additional front storage (frunk) for small essentials, a wide and comfortable 851 mm seat, and My Vida app connectivity for a seamless user experience. With IPL 2026 around the corner, this exclusive KKR-themed Vida VX2 Plus could attract both EV buyers and cricket fans.
The Vida VX2 Plus EV has been specially created, as Hero Vida is the official title partner of the three-time IPL-winning franchise. The standard VX2 Plus is priced at ₹94,800 (ex-showroom), and being a limited edition, this version is likely to carry a slightly higher price tag.
