Flying Flea Expands To Hyderabad - Four Touchpoints Opened

Royal Enfield's electric sub-brand Flying Flea has expanded to Hyderabad with four customer touchpoints, making it the brand's second Indian city after Bengaluru. Flying's Flea's Hyderabad network includes one company store and three additional outlets there.

The launch of Flying Flea in Hyderabad follows the customer response to the FF.C6 in Bengaluru, where owners have collectively covered over 1 lakh km on the motorcycle. The brand has since grown to 11 touchpoints in Bengaluru.

Flying Flea Hyderabad Store Network

The Flying Flea Hyderabad network runs on a hub-and-spoke ownership model. The company store on Erragadda Main Road is the dedicated hub for specialised technical support, while three spoke centres handle routine service and maintenance. The three dealer outlets are in Vanasthalipuram, Hi-Tech City and Kondapur, giving the C6 sales and service access across the city.

Flying Flea C6 Price, Range and Features

The Flying Flea C6 is priced at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), dropping to Rs 1.99 lakh with the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option. Every motorcycle comes with 24x7 roadside assistance, and buyers can pick Storm Black, Flea Green or Parachute White.

A 15.4 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor powers the Flying Flea C6. It does the 0 to 60 km/h sprint in 3.7 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 115 km/h. The C6 tips the scales at 124 kg.

The motor draws power from a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery that returns a claimed 154km on a single charge. A full charge of the C6's battery pack takes 2 hours 16 minutes, and a 20 to 80 per cent top-up takes 65 minutes.

Up front, the C6 gets girder-type hydraulic twin suspension, paired with a mono-shock at the rear. Both ends have disc brakes, and the bike gets dual-channel ABS with a switchable rear ABS, plus traction control.

Instrumentation for the C6 is a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen, with onboard navigation, smartphone connectivity, keyless access and wireless phone charging. Riding modes are Eco, Rain, Highway, Sport and Custom.

Outside India, Flying Flea has recently launched in Europe and the UK, with stores in Paris, London, Berlin, Barcelona and Rome.
