Sales dropped to 7,516 units in January 2026 compared to 24,027 units during the same period last year. This also includes the sale of its Roadster EV motorcycle. The declining market share highlights the need for improved customer support and service infrastructure to regain buyer confidence.

The company sold 13,274 units in January 2026 compared to just 1,626 units in January 2025 - a remarkable 716% year-on-year growth. This growth indicates increasing acceptance of Vida scooters and suggests that traditional manufacturers are gaining momentum in the EV space.

Ather Energy continues to strengthen its position as a trusted EV brand. Its family-oriented Rizta electric scooter has gained strong popularity among urban buyers, driving sales. Ather reported 21,923 units sold in January 2026 compared to 13,097 units in January 2025. The brand's focus is on software integration, OTA updates, and connected features through the Ather Stack ecosystem. This enhances the riding and ownership experience of Ather customers.
