EMO Energy To Deploy 5,000+ EV Fast Chargers In India By 2027!
Bengaluru-based tech startup EMO Energy has announced plans to expand its fast-charging network to more than 5,000 chargers by 2027. This last-mile EV charging infrastructure is aimed at benefiting commercial electric two-wheeler users in their daily operations.
Bengaluru Startup EMO Energy Expansion Plans
EMO Energy specialises in advanced battery packs, thermal management systems, and fast-charging technology. The company currently operates over 1,500 fast chargers and primarily provides charging solutions for commercial EVs.

Its battery management system, ZenPac, enables batteries to charge up to 80% in just 20 minutes, allowing rapid turnaround times that are crucial for daily commercial use. This infrastructure is designed to serve fleet operators, delivery riders, and last-mile mobility users who require fast and reliable charging to keep their operations running efficiently. These charging stations are built to meet real-world usage demands.
The chargers are strategically deployed in high-traffic corridors and dark stores, enabling quick charging within short durations and helping users get back on the road faster to complete their deliveries on time. The ecosystem is designed to offer consistency, compatibility, and long-term performance for commercial operations.
EMO Energy Co-Founder Sheetanshu Tyagi said, "Commercial EV adoption will only scale when charging becomes as seamless and reliable as refuelling. At EMO Energy, we are building infrastructure around the actual needs of last-mile fleets-fast turnaround, predictable performance, and high utilisation. Our goal is to remove the operational friction that slows down commercial EV adoption and create a charging backbone that supports scale at every level."

The company is also planning to expand across e-commerce and delivery services, where demand for fast, reliable charging infrastructure continues to grow. This is expected to improve unit economics, rider productivity, and overall scalability of commercial electric two-wheelers. EMO Energy aims to build one of India's largest charging networks by scaling up to 5,000+ stations by 2027, supporting the transition of last-mile mobility from pilot adoption to mainstream deployment.
