Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera Revealed
It adopts an exclusive "Nera" styling theme, characterized by a stealthy black finish, striking red accents, and a more aggressive visual stance. It also gets Termignoni silencers with black and red detailing, further enhancing the motorcycle's sporty and race-inspired character.
Design and Style updates
The compact and lightweight motorcycle features a sharp LED headlamp with daytime running lights, LED tail lamps with Ducati brake-light function, dedicated racing seats, motard-style footpegs, and five-spoke Y-shaped alloy wheels. A special racing-inspired livery adds to its distinctive street-focused appeal.

Engine and Components
Powering the motorcycle is a 659cc "Superquadro Mono" single-cylinder engine that produces 77.5 bhp at 10,250 rpm. It uses Ducati's signature Desmodromic valve timing system, a technology derived from the larger-capacity Ducati 1299 Panigale. With the optional racing exhaust, output increases by an additional 7 hp, making the motorcycle even more performance-oriented.
Performance components
Several internal engine components are shared with Ducati's premium superbikes, helping deliver exceptional power while maintaining a compact and lightweight package. Weighing just 151 kg, the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera offers outstanding agility and an engaging riding experience.

For safety and performance, the motorcycle is equipped with cornering ABS, Slide-by-Brake control, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, launch control, and multiple riding modes. Premium hardware includes an up/down quickshifter, upside-down front forks, high-performance disc brakes, and a rear monoshock.
Other Highlights
Despite its track-inspired nature, the motorcycle remains practical for everyday ownership. Ducati continues to offer extended maintenance intervals, with oil changes recommended every 15,000 km and valve-clearance inspections required only every 30,000 km.
