BSA Scrambler 650 India Launch Tomorrow: What To Expect
The BSA Scrambler 650 is just a day away from its official India launch, scheduled for April 23, 2026. Built on the same foundation as the BSA Goldstar 650, the Scrambler gets a range of hardware updates to give it a rugged, off-road-friendly character, and it's shaping up to be an interesting option in the retro-scrambler space.
The BSA Scrambler 650 is expected to be priced around Rs 3.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Its primary rival is the Royal Enfield Bear 650, with the Royal Enfield Scram 440 and Triumph Scrambler 400X also in the mix as more affordable alternatives.

BSA Scrambler 650: What Does It Look Like?
BSA has gone with a proper scrambler aesthetic here. THe BSA Scrambler 650 get a high-mounted front fender, a wide-braced handlebar, fork gaiters, and a slightly taller stance compared to the Goldstar 650.
The round headlight and teardrop fuel tank keep the retro vibe going for the BSA Scrambler 650. The block-pattern tyres, side-mounted race number plates, and a sump guard add to the rugged appeal of the Scrambler 650.

BSA Scrambler 650: The Mechanical Bits & Other Features
Under the fuel tank of the BSA Scrambler 650 sits the same 652cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from the Goldstar 650, producing 44.38bhp and 55Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and gets a slip-and-assist clutch.
The BSA Scrambler 650 gets revised suspension with more travel compared to the road-going Goldstar, making it better suited for broken roads and light off-road use. The updated setup includes 41mm telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks with pre-load adjustment.

The BSA Scrambler 650 features a 320mm disc with twin-piston floating callipers at the front and a 255mm disc at the rear with a single piston calliper to help bring it to a stop. The brakes are aided by dual-channel ABS. The Scrambler 650 rides on 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels shod with Pirelli Scropion Rally STR (Front: 110/80-19, Rear: 150/70-R17) tyres.
On the electronics and features front, the BSA Scrambler 650 keeps things simple. You get an LCD instrument cluster covering speed, trip info, and fuel level, along with all-LED lighting. Dual-channel ABS is on board and can be switched off, useful when you're taking it off the tarmac.
