Brabus Unveils Bonkers Urban E Luxury Commuter Electric Motorcycle Range

Brabus and French electric motorcycle maker DAB Motors revealed their joint lineup at Milan Design Week 2026, built around DAB's modular DAB 1α platform. The range spans three models - the DAB 1α Brabus, the Brabus Urban E, and the Brabus Urban E First Edition - each stepping up in power, hardware, and exclusivity.

The partnership pairs DAB's lightweight electric engineering with Brabus's approach to finish and performance calibration. All three models share a 120kmph top speed and a claimed 150km of range. Pricing across the range has not been announced.

DAB 1α Brabus

The DAB 1α Brabus is the entry point. Its electric motor produces 23kW (31hp) and 395Nm of torque, feeding into a drivetrain built for urban use. Battery charging is via a standard household outlet; Brabus hasn't quoted a specific charge time.

Visually, it gets exposed carbon-fibre across the front fender, side intakes, and lower fairing. Gloss and matte black surfaces are paired with subtle grey accents and an Alcantara seat.

Brabus Urban E

The Urban E runs a more potent drivetrain - 27kW (37hp) and 475Nm, a 20 percent increase over the base. A revised inverter allows higher current flow, and custom carbon-fibre air ducts manage motor cooling under sustained load.

Chassis hardware is a clear step up: a 46mm fully adjustable inverted fork with 100mm of travel, a CNC-machined multi-adjustable rear shock, and a Brembo four-piston radial caliper gripping a 320mm floating disc up front. A 240mm rear disc with a single-piston caliper completes the braking setup.

Monocoque-style bodywork in gloss black with red accents defines the exterior. The seat is a Brabus Masterpiece unit in red leather with Shell quilting and red stitching. A stealth variant - the Urban E Superblack - swaps the red for an all-black finish and matching black leather seat.

Five riding modes cover the full range: Eco, Street, Sport, Nitrous, and Reverse. Keyless start operates via PIN code, and a centrally placed 2.8-inch LCD display shows real-time riding data alongside a bespoke Brabus startup animation.

The First Edition uses the same drivetrain and chassis as the Urban E but restricts production to just 10 units per colour - four shades total, making a global run of 40 motorcycles. Colours are Peetch, Desert Sand, Superviolet, and Fusion Red, each drawn from Brabus's supercar palette and applied across the frame, bodywork, and seat leather.

Every First Edition gets a Masterpiece seat in premium leather precisely matched to its colourway, with quilting detail throughout. The Superviolet variant is the only one in the range to add exposed carbon-fibre elements.
