2026 BMW GS Experience Training Programme Starts Tomorrow - Ultimate Off-Roading School

BMW Motorrad India has announced its 2026 BMW GS Experience training programme, a two-day adventure riding training initiative exclusively designed for owners of BMW GS adventure motorcycles. The first stop in the programme starts tomorrow (Feb 14) in Chandigarh, and the programme will be conducted across eight more cities throughout the year.

The 2026 BMW GS Experience is structured to offer two levels of training - Level 1 and Level 2 - on separate tracks for different categories of riders and motorcycles. Each training batch will accommodate up to 40 participants, with 20 riders on G 310 GS motorcycles and 20 riders on GS models with displacements of 650 cc and above.

2026 BMW GS Experience

Level 1 training in the BMW GS Experience training programme is aimed at introducing fundamental off-road riding techniques. Modules include familiarisation with the motorcycle, rider posture, throttle and clutch control, enduro steering, emergency braking, riding on slopes and basic handling skills required for unpaved surfaces. Riders who complete Level 1 automatically qualify for Level 2 sessions.

The Level 2 BMW GS Experience training programme segment is designed for more advanced off-road training and includes riding in varied terrain conditions, such as sand and gravel, off-camber sections and steep uphill and downhill gradients. Exercises include tight manoeuvres like figure-of-eight drills, advanced steering control, and the use of Enduro Pro mode, which adjusts ABS, traction control and power delivery for enhanced off-road capability.

Each session begins with a briefing and demonstration by BMW Motorrad International Instructor Academy (IIA) certified trainers. Participants are guided through practical drills under expert supervision on a mix of bitumen and off-road surfaces, reinforcing safety and technique throughout the training programme.

BMW Motorrad has confirmed the 2026 GS Experience will be held in nine Indian cities on the following dates:
