BMW F 450 RR Revealed - Familiar 420cc Engine, 4 Variants On Offer
German bikemaker BMW Motorrad has revealed the F 450 RR, a full-faired sportbike built on the 420cc platform that also underpins the F 450 GS and F 450 R. The BMW F 450 RR is the third model on the platform, after the F 450 GS revealed in November 2025 and the F 450 R that debuted earlier this month. All three are manufactured by TVS in Hosur.
BMW F 450 RR - Engine, Chassis & Brakes

The BMW F 450 RR uses the same 420cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the other two 450s, producing 48hp at 8,750rpm and 43Nm at 6,750rpm. A steel tubular chassis carries the engine as a stressed member.
Bodywork gets winglets and a full fairing, while the suspension, brakes and kerb weight stay close to the sport-naked F 450 R. KYB supplies a 43mm USD fork and a monoshock, the latter with rebound and preload adjustability as standard. The BMW F 450 RR rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 110/70 (front) and 150/60 (rear) tyres.

Braking duties on the F 450 RR are handled by a 310mm front disc with a Brembo four-piston monobloc caliper and a 240mm ByBre rear disc, as on the F 450 R. Seat height is 790mm, with two optional seats that raise it to 810mm or lower it to 775mm. The base variant of the BMW F 450 RR tips the scales at 177kg.
BMW F 450 RR - Variants, Price & India Launch Expectations

The F 450 RR is offered in four variants, Base, Exclusive, M Sport and M Sport with Innovation Package, across three colours. All four share the F 450 R's rider aids, including dual-channel, lean-sensitive ABS, a 6.5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, and Rain, Road and Race ride modes.
The Base comes in Cosmic Black. Racing Red is reserved for the Exclusive, which also gets a bi-directional quickshifter and Sport suspension that brings rebound and compression adjustability to the USD fork.

The M Sport variant arrives in a Snaefell White/M Motorsport colour scheme with a user-customisable Race Pro ride mode. At the top, the M Sport with Innovation Package gets Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), BMW's clutchless riding system first seen on the F 450 GS.
BMW hasn't revealed prices or an India launch timeline for the BMW F 450 RR, the same as with the F 450 R. The F 450 GS reached India six months after its international reveal, and its Base variant starts at Rs 4.95 lakh.
BMW's India line-up also includes another TVS-built sportbike, the G 310 RR, which is listed on the BMW Motorrad India website. The G 310 R and G 310 GS were discontinued last year with thelatter being replaced by the F 450 GS. We expect the same to happen with the G 310 RR, with the F 450 GS set to become the Bavarian marque's new entry-level faired sportbike.
