Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Launched With TFT Console At Rs 1.90 Lakh

Bajaj has launched an updated Pulsar NS400Z fitted with a new 5-inch TFT instrument console, priced at Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The update arrives about a week after the TFT-equipped motorcycle was spotted at a dealership ahead of its official unveiling.

The new console adds Rs 4,000 to the Pulsar NS400Z's price and replaces the bonded-glass colour LCD unit used on the motorcycle so far. Bajaj has also added a USB Type-C port and a panic brake alert system as part of the update.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z: Engine & Mechanical Bits Remain Unchanged

The Pulsar NS400Z continues with its 349cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40hp at 9,000rpm and 33Nm at 7,500rpm. Power goes through a 6-speed gearbox, and Bajaj has not made any changes to the motor with this update.

Suspension duties are handled by a 43mm upside-down front fork, and braking is managed by a dual-channel ABS system. The motorcycle retains its electronic throttle body, four ride modes, traction control and radial tyres from before. Bajaj quotes a kerb weight of 176kg and a top speed of 157kmph for the NS400Z.

The 5-inch TFT unit is the same display Bajaj has progressively rolled out across the Pulsar line-up through 2026, starting with the N160 SS before reaching the Pulsar 125 and 150. It supports Google Maps mirroring for turn-by-turn navigation, along with music management, document storage and a lap timer.

Riders can also access the four ride modes and manage traction control through the new TFT interface, which connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth. The panic brake alert activates the motorcycle's hazard lights automatically under hard braking.
