New Bajaj Pulsar N160 Variant Launched At ₹1.22 Lakh: Gold USD Forks, Slipper Clutch & More
Bajaj Auto has expanded the Pulsar N160 lineup with a new variant priced at an introductory Rs 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom). The update adds premium hardware to the popular 160cc commuter range, which the brand describes as a combination of sporty performance, confident braking, and premium styling.
The Pulsar N160 range continues to start from Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom) and spans four variants: single-channel, dual-channel, dual-channel USD, and dual-channel split-seat. The new variant slots into this lineup as a feature-richer addition aimed at riders seeking premium suspension hardware without stepping up to the top-spec model.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 - What's New?
The headline addition on the new Pulsar N160 variant is the gold-finished USD front forks, which replace the conventional telescopic units on lower trims. Alongside the forks, the variant also gains dual-channel ABS and an assist and slipper clutch, the latter helping smoothen downshifts and reduce rear wheel hop during hard braking.
Further additions include an LED projector headlamp and a USB Type-C charging port. The single-piece seat setup replaces the split-seat layout, with Bajaj claiming the configuration delivers confident handling and everyday riding comfort for both rider and pillion.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 - Colours, Features & Powertrain
The new Pulsar N160 variant is offered in four colour options: Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red, Grey, and Brooklyn Black. The digital instrument cluster carries over unchanged from the existing range, featuring a negative LCD display that provides all essential ride information.
The top-end variant of the N160 range continues to offer Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn naviagation alongside various ride modes. A tank-mounted USB charger is also present across applicable trims.

The Pulsar N160 draws power from a 164.82cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 15.7bhp and 14.65Nm of peak torque. Drive goes through a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres, with disc brakes at both ends backed by dual-channel ABS on this variant.
With this update, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 continues to take on rivals, including the TVS Apache RTR 160, Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ, and Hero Xtreme 160 4V in the 160cc segment.
