Bajaj Pulsar 220F Gets LED Headlight, Priced at Rs 1.36 Lakh - See What Else Is New

Bajaj has updated the Pulsar 220F with an LED headlight unit featuring integrated LED DRLs, replacing the halogen setup the motorcycle has carried for years. The new Bajaj Pulsar 220F follows the December 2025 update that brought refreshed graphics, LED indicators and new colour options to the semi-faired commuter-sport.

The updated Bajaj Pulsar 220F is priced at Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), marking an increase of Rs 8,000 over the Rs 1.28 lakh it commanded after its previous update six months ago. The motorcycle is available in four colour schemes.

Bajaj Pulsar 220F - LED Headlight and DRLs

The new LED headlight unit with integrated LED DRLs is housed within the Pulsar 220F's familiar semi-faired front end, which otherwise remains unchanged. The updated front lighting sits behind the same half-fairing silhouette the 220F has carried since its inception, preserving the visual identity the model has built over its long production run.

Combined with the LED indicators added in December 2025, the Pulsar 220F now runs a full LED lighting suite front and rear. The bodywork, instrument cluster and overall styling remain unchanged from the previous iteration.

Bajaj Pulsar 220F - Mechanically Unchanged

Bajaj has made no changes to the powertrain or cycle parts with this update. The Bajaj Pulsar 220F continues with its 220cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 20.9hp and 18.6Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

Chassis, suspension and braking hardware also carry over without revision. The 220F remains one of the longest-running motorcycles in Bajaj's current lineup, sustained by a loyal ownership base despite facing increasing competition from newer, more modern alternatives in the 150cc-250cc segment.

Next-Gen Pulsar in the Pipeline

Bajaj is separately preparing a significant overhaul of its Classic Pulsar range. A next-generation Pulsar 125 test mule has already been spotted on Indian roads, with the new platform expected to bring substantial chassis and suspension changes across the Classic Pulsar family ahead of the festive season.

Whether the Pulsar 220F will be carried into the new platform or receive a standalone generation update has not been confirmed by Bajaj. For now, the LED headlight upgrade represents the latest in a series of incremental updates Bajaj has used to keep the 220F current while the broader Pulsar range evolves.
