Bajaj has brought back the iconic Bajaj Pulsar 180 after its discontinuation in 2022. The new Pulsar benefits from updated styling along with revised components. The 180cc Pulsar has always been popular among daily city commuters as well as occasional highway riders.
What's New in the Bajaj Pulsar 180 (2026)
The sporty commuter now gets a new updates and advanced features that makes it suitable and competitive for current market demands. It sells in a very less competitive 180cc category which has only a few players like TVS and Honda.

Familiar 180cc Engine
The Pulsar 180 continues to be one of the best mid-level commuter motorcycles, powered by the same trusted 180cc engine that delivers 17 PS of power and 15 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. This setup is well known for its punchy mid-range performance, making it ideal for overtaking and relaxed cruising.
Revised Styling
The new Pulsar 180 follows Bajaj Auto's latest design language, featuring a large LED headlamp, sporty stance, and a semi-sporty profile with old-school appeal. It also gets updated graphics and refreshed body panels, enhancing its overall visual appeal.

LED Setup
Bajaj has equipped the new Pulsar 180 with a full LED lighting setup. The LED headlamp improves illumination and night visibility, making it more practical for everyday use and occasional highway rides. The halogen indicators have also been replaced with LED units, giving the motorcycle a sharper and more modern look.
New LCD Display
The Pulsar 180 now features an LCD instrument cluster borrowed from the Bajaj Pulsar 150 and the Bajaj Pulsar 220F. It also offers Bluetooth connectivity and USB charging, while ensuring good visibility even under bright sunlight.

Renewed Exhaust
The older exhaust unit has been replaced with a new, more refined exhaust borrowed from the Pulsar 220F. This updated exhaust adds more character to the motorcycle and complements its performance.
Pricing and Rivals
The Bajaj Pulsar 180 is priced at ₹1.22 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option in the mid-range sporty commuter segment. It faces limited competition in the 180cc category, including the TVS Apache RTR 180 2V and the Honda CB Hornet 2.0.
