2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125, Pulsar 150 Launched At Rs 92,990, Rs 1.15 Lakh - Big Upgrades & More Tech

Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has launched the new-generation Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150, marking one of the biggest updates yet for both nameplates as it celebrates 25 years of the Pulsar brand.

The Pulsar 125 starts at Rs 92,990, while the Pulsar 150 begins at Rs 1,15,233, both ex-showroom. Both motorcycles get new engines, monoshock rear suspension and revised frames. Select variants also add ride modes, Crawl Tech and five-inch TFT displays with navigation.

The Pulsar 150 is offered in three variants, priced between Rs 1,15,233 and Rs 1,23,187 (ex-showroom).

The Pulsar 125 is offered in four variants,, priced between Rs 92,990 and Rs 1,04,318 (ex-showroom).

Moving from the Pulsar 150 Single Disc to the Twin Disc Single Seat costs Rs 6,951 and this adds the TFT with Google Maps navigation, a rear disc brake, LED indicators, hazard lights and ISG. The split-seat Twin Disc costs a further Rs 1,003 extra.

On the Pulsar 125, the jump from the base variant to the STD Single Seat costs Rs 6,301 and brings the TFT, ride modes, LED indicators, hazard lights and ISG. The STD Split Seat costs Rs 997 more, taking the range up to the Rs 1,04,318 Premium Split Seat.

The Pulsar 150's new 149.5cc engine makes 13.6bhp at 8,500rpm and 13.25Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm, while the Pulsar 125 gets a fresh 125cc air-cooled unit producing 11.93bhp at 8,500rpm and 11.4Nm at 6,500rpm, up 0.3bhp and 0.6Nm over the outgoing engine. Both motorcycles use a 5-speed gearbox.

Bajaj says 85 percent of available torque can be accessed from 3,000rpm onwards on both motorcycles. The gearbox has also been revised with deeper gear bevels to improve tractability and reduce clutch use in lower gears.

Both the new Pulsar 125 & 150 get Crawl Tech as standard, a system that lets the motorcycle move slowly in traffic without constant throttle input. It is designed to reduce clutch and throttle effort while lowering the chance of stalling.

Bajaj has also revised the frame on both motorcycles and switched to a monoshock rear suspension in place of the earlier twin-shock setup. The Pulsar 125 continues with a conventional telescopic fork up front.

The Pulsar 125 uses a 260mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum, with a combined braking system (CBS) fitted as standard. The Pulsar 150 Twin Disc variants (280mm front disc) add a rear disc brake (230mm) over the Single Disc version which gets a 260mm front disc and a 130mm drum.

Ride modes are not fitted uniformly across either range. The base Pulsar 125 gets a coloured LCD display, monoshock suspension, Crawl Tech and an LED headlamp, with a Type-C charging socket offered as an option. It misses out on ride modes, LED indicators, hazard lamps and ISG.

The mid-level Pulsar 125 adds the five-inch TFT display, LED indicators, hazard lights, ISG and a standard Type-C port, offered with a single seat or split seat. The top-spec variant keeps the same package but comes only in split-seat form.

On the Pulsar 150, both the Single Disc and Twin Disc versions get all three ride modes. The Single Disc gets a coloured LCD display, monoshock suspension, Crawl Tech, an LED headlamp and USB Type-C charging, while the Twin Disc adds the five-inch TFT with Google Maps navigation, LED indicators, hazard lamps and ISG, and can be had with a single seat or split seat.

On the Pulsar 125, both the LCD and TFT consoles support smartphone connectivity, SMS and call alerts and turn-by-turn navigation, while the TFT additionally offers music controls, Google Maps mirroring and document storage. The Pulsar 125 also gets a silent engine starter and a switchable engine start/stop feature.
