Bajaj Chetak EV Gets Google Maps Navigation, Higher Top Speed & Price Hike – Full Details

Bajaj Auto has updated its Chetak C3501 electric scooter with Google Maps integration. Users can now access Google-powered navigation, making it easier to reach destinations with real-time guidance.

Most Electric scooters in India are equipped with advanced features such as smartphone connectivity, music controls, call alerts, live location sharing, and more. Among these, turn-by-turn navigation stands out as one of the most practical additions, significantly enhancing everyday usability.

The Bajaj Chetak is one of the best-selling electric scooters in India. However, it previously lacked built-in Google Maps navigation, especially when compared to rivals like Ather Energy, which offers this feature in its premium scooters.

Chetak users can now benefit from this update, as Bajaj has introduced Google Maps integration for the top-spec C3501 variant. The navigation feature can be accessed via the Chetak smartphone application. Along with this update, Bajaj has also increased prices across the lineup by ₹3,000 to ₹5,000.

The C35 and C30 variants now come with ride modes and hill hold assist as standard features, which were previously part of the optional TecPac. Performance has also seen a slight boost, with power output increased to 4.8 kW from 4.5 kW. As a result, the top speed has gone up from 73 km/h to 80 km/h.

Prices and Highlights

The C35 and C30 variants are now OTA-enabled, allowing users to update their scooters via smartphones without visiting service centres. The C3501 is now priced at ₹1.39 lakh (ex-showroom), while the C3502 and C3503 are priced at ₹1.29 lakh and ₹1.14 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

Other updates include improvements to the C30, which now gets ride modes, hill hold assist, and a fast portable charger as standard, enhancing convenience and charging efficiency. It is now priced at ₹1.03 lakh (ex-showroom).

The C25 remains the most affordable model in the lineup and the latest addition to the Chetak range. It now offers a more refined design and improved performance, with top speed increased to 60 km/h from 50 km/h. The model is priced at ₹89,500 (ex-showroom).
