Avore EX1, EX2 and EX2S Launched: Prices Start at Rs 1.23 Lakh

Gujarat-based EV startup Avore has launched its debut motorcycle range in India with the EX1, EX2 and EX2S. The Avore EX1, EX2 and EX2S share the same basic design but differ in battery capacity, range, performance and features.

Prices for the line-up start at Rs 1.23 lakh for the EX1 and go up to Rs 1.70 lakh for the range-topping EX2S, with the EX2 slotted in between at Rs 1.46 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). Avore has opened pre-bookings for a token amount of Rs 799, and the EX1's launch price applies to the first 10,000 customers.

Avore EX1, EX2 and EX2S: Battery, Range & Performance

The EX1 uses a 3.24kWh battery pack with a claimed IDC range of 160km and a top speed of 100kph. It is powered by a 10.5kW motor and claims a 0-40kph time of 3.2 seconds, with Eco, City and Sport riding modes plus a reverse function. Avore bundles it with a 750W charger and a 7-inch segmented LCD console.

The EX2 steps up to a larger 5kWh battery, raising the claimed IDC range to 255km while retaining the same 10.5kW motor and 100kph top speed. It comes with a 1,500W onboard charger that Avore claims can take the battery from 20 to 80 percent in around two hours on a standard 15A socket.

The EX2S shares its 5kWh battery and 10.5kW motor with the EX2 but claims a higher top speed of 114kph and a range of 260km. Acceleration improves too, with Avore claiming a 0-40kph time of 2.8 seconds, and the EX2S gets five riding modes against the EX1's three.

Feature-wise, the EX2S gets a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with smartphone connectivity and AI integration for navigation, geofencing and crash alerts, features the EX1 and EX2 do not get. It also includes hill-hold assist and cruise control, along with a manual gearbox toggle that can be switched on or off to mimic a conventional riding experience.

Avore is yet to disclose full specifications such as kerb weight, seat height, suspension setup and detailed charging times for the range. Delivery timelines for the EX1, EX2 and EX2S have also not been announced yet.
