Ather Electric Scooters Get Google-Like Smart Voice Assistant Feature
Ather Energy has announced the completion of the rollout of its new 'Voice on Ather' feature for all eligible Gen 3 and newer scooter owners. The feature was first unveiled as part of the Ather Stack 7 software update during the Ather Community Day event in 2025.
Electric scooters are becoming increasingly popular among buyers who prioritise advanced technology, connected features, and everyday convenience. As competition intensifies, manufacturers are focusing on enhancing the overall ownership experience through software-driven innovations.

Ather scooters are already among the most technologically advanced electric two-wheelers available in India. The company's premium models offer segment-leading features such as Infinite Cruise, Hill Hold, Crawl Control, a TFT display with Google-powered navigation, Multi-Mode Traction Control, an advanced anti-theft system, Fall Safe technology, Magic Twist, and Park Assist.
Ather Electric Scooters Get Smart Voice Assistant
With the latest update, eligible Ather scooters now support 'Voice on Ather', a voice assistant designed specifically for Indian users. The system is capable of understanding natural languages, accents, and dialects, allowing riders to interact naturally without relying on fixed voice commands.

The feature also works seamlessly with Ather Halo smart helmets, which come equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, it supports select third-party communication devices such as Sena headsets. Voice on Ather is available on the Ather 450X, 450 Apex, and Rizta models equipped with Gen 3 hardware or newer. However, entry-level variants such as the 450S and Rizta S are not compatible with this feature.
The functionality works in a manner similar to popular smartphone assistants such as Siri and Google Assistant. Existing customers with compatible Gen 3 and newer scooters can access the feature through an over-the-air (OTA) software update.

Apart from Voice on Ather, the Ather Stack 7 platform also brings several connected features, including ParkSafe alerts, crash alerts, Ping My Scooter, live location sharing, remote functionality, and even live cricket scores on the dashboard. These additions further enhance convenience, safety, and the overall riding experience.
Customers interested in accessing these premium software features can opt for the Ather Stack Pro package, which is available at an additional cost of Rs 16,000 over the scooter's standard price.
