In addition to the cosmetic updates, the scooter now gets a faster 900W charger, replacing the earlier 700W unit. Ather claims this new charger delivers up to 30% faster charging during regular charging sessions.

Specs And Performance

Mechanically, the scooter remains unchanged. The Ather 450X continues to offer a claimed IDC range of up to 161km and a top speed of 90km/h. Its electric motor produces 6.4kW of power and 26Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0-40km/h in just 3.3 seconds. It is available with two battery pack options - 2.9kWh and 3.5kWh.

On the hardware side, the 450X uses a lightweight aluminium chassis inspired by motorsport, improving agility and handling. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring a balanced ride across different road conditions.

Ather has also updated the scooter with Ather Stack 7, bringing new features such as WhatsApp alerts, live location sharing, Google-powered smart navigation, live cricket scores, answer/reject call functions, pothole alerts, and Voice on Ather.
