Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition Launched At Rs 3.99 Lakh - Inspired By The 2006 Tuono 1000R

Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia has launched the 2026 Tuono 457 Special Edition at Rs 3.99 lakh, ex-showroom, which is Rs 2,000 more than the standard variant. The 2026 Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition was introduced on World Motorcycle Day and draws inspiration from the 2006 Tuono 1000R, one of the brand's most celebrated naked motorcycles.

The Special Edition continues on the same 457cc parallel-twin platform as the standard Tuono 457 but adds new colours, revised ergonomics, and a comfort-focused package aimed at everyday usability. Pre-bookings are open at select Aprilia dealerships across India.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition is offered in two new shades, Mamba Black and Puma Grey, both tied to the Tuono 1000R's heritage livery. A smoked flyscreen has also been added, built from high-impact material to cut wind blast and reduce rider fatigue on highway runs.

A taller handlebar gives a more upright seating posture, easing strain on the wrists, shoulders, and lower back during commutes and longer rides. The seat now uses a high-resilience foam core for added support and lower vibration transfer.

Suspension settings have been revised with a softer initial stroke for better bump absorption, while compression damping has been recalibrated. Preload adjustability at both ends carries over. An adjustable front brake lever has also been added, letting riders set reach to hand size for better modulation and control.

Aprilia is offering accessories for the Tuono 457 Special Edition including a bidirectional quickshifter, TPMS, USB charger, electronic anti-theft system, passenger seat cover, fork sliders, helmet cable lock, shorter rear mudguard, sintered front brake pads, and a vehicle cover. The bike comes with a 4-year/48,000km warranty.

Power for the Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition continues to come from the same 457cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine producing 47.6bhp and 43.5Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle retains its full-colour TFT cluster with self-diagnostics and lap timing, full-LED lighting, and an immobiliser-equipped ignition system.
