Aprilia SR 125, SR 175 Tribute Edition Launched - Prices Start At Rs 1.17 Lakh

Aprilia has launched the Tribute Edition of the SR 125 and SR 175 scooters in India. The SR 125 Tribute Edition is priced at Rs 1.17 lakh, while the SR 175 Tribute Edition costs Rs 1.24 lakh, both figures ex-showroom.

Both versions get a camouflage-inspired livery but carry no mechanical changes over the standard models. The SR 125 Tribute commands a premium of around Rs 3,000 over the regular variant, while the SR 175 Tribute costs about Rs 2,000 more.

Aprilia SR Tribute Edition: What's New?

The Tribute Edition gets an olive green base shade with a matte finish, contrasted with yellow and orange slats to create the camouflage effect. This triple-colour pattern runs across the front apron and side body panels, and is shared between the SR 125 and SR 175.

A brown matte shade appears at the rear of the side panels, near the SR 125 and SR 175 badging. The 14-inch alloy wheels get a black base shade with a orange pinstripe running around the rim on both scooters.

Aprilia SR Tribute Edition: Engine And Specs

Mechanically, both scooters remain untouched. The SR 125 uses a 124.45cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine producing 10.6hp and 10.4Nm of torque. The SR 175 gets a larger 174.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit that makes 13.2hp and 14.1Nm of torque.

Outside of the Tribute Edition, the SR 125 is also offered in Glossy Mazda Grey with Gloss Black, Glossy Red with Matte Black, and Matte Black colour options. The SR 175 comes in Matte Prismatic Dark, Glossy Tech White and a GP Replica scheme.
