The 2027 Triumph Tiger 1200 has been launched in India, with the GT Pro priced at Rs 20.99 lakh and the Rally Explorer at Rs 23.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Both variants will be available from March 2027.

The 2027 Triumph Tiger 1200's 1,160cc liquid-cooled inline-triple now makes 158hp at 9,250rpm and 130Nm at 6,750rpm. That is 8hp more than before, and peak torque arrives lower in the rev range.

Triumph has redesigned the cylinder head, pistons and exhaust, and fitted lighter intake and exhaust valves with more precise fuel injection. Added low-speed torque and revised primary and final-drive ratios bring crawl speed down by 6kph.

Both variants ride on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination, so the 21-inch front wheel offered on earlier generations is gone. The GT Pro gets cast aluminium wheels, while the Rally Explorer has spoked ones.

Suspension is semi-active Showa, with a 49mm USD fork and a monoshock, each offering 200mm of travel. The system includes automatic self-levelling preload, and inputs from multiple sensors, including a six-axis IMU, continuously adjust compression and rebound damping. Braking comes from twin 320mm front discs with Brembo Stylema calipers and a 282mm rear disc. Kerb weight is 250kg for the GT Pro and 268kg for the Rally Explorer.
