2027 Kawasaki Z1100 Launched At Rs 12.79 Lakh

Japanese bikemaker Kawasaki has launched the Z1100 super-naked in India at Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2027 Kawasaki Z1100 is unchanged from the 2026 model. Bookings are open, and deliveries have begun at dealerships across the country.

Kawasaki has made no mechanical, cosmetic or feature changes for the new model year, and the Sugomi styling carries over in a single Ebony/Metallic Carbon Grey colour. The Z1100 first launched in India in November 2025 as the successor to the Z1000.

Power for the 2027 Kawasaki Z1100 continues to come from a 1,099cc, liquid-cooled inline-four that makes 136hp and 113Nm. A six-speed transmission with an assist-and-slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter handles the gear shifts.

Up front, the Z1100 sports a 41mm USD fork that offers 120mm of travel with compression and rebound adjustability. The rear-linkage monoshock has 136mm of travel and adjusts for preload and rebound. Braking duties are carried out by dual 310mm discs at the front, and a 260mm single disc at the rear. The fuel tank holds 17 litres.

A 5-inch TFT display controls the Z1100's electronics suite which includes an IMU-based three-level traction control, two power modes, cornering ABS, cruise control and the quickshifter. Bluetooth connectivity brings turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts and message notifications.

The Kawasaki Z1100 SE, with Brembo brakes and upgraded suspension, is not sold in India. The standard Z1100 competes with the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP at Rs 13.29 lakh, Triumph Street Triple 765 at Rs 10.86 lakh and Honda CB750 Hornet at Rs 10.49 lakh.
