2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launched At Rs 3.34 Lakh

Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Ninja 300 in India at Rs 3.34 lakh, ex-showroom. The 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 now costs Rs 17,000 more than the outgoing model, and price is the only change for the new model year.

Kawasaki continues to offer the Ninja 300 in a single colour option for 2027 with Lime Green being the sole shade on sale, and it draws heavily from the flagship Ninja ZX-6R and ZX-10R for its visual cues.

The 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 large-volume bodywork gives it the presence of a bigger machine. Dual projector headlights borrowed from the ZX-6R sit up front, paired with a floating windscreen inspired by the ZX-10R and a sharp, minimalist tail cowl.

A 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine continues to power the 2027 Ninja 300. The motor uses a DOHC, 8-valve layout with a 62.0 x 49.0mm bore and stroke, and runs a 10.6:1 compression ratio. Dual throttle valves, a feature shared with the ZX-10R and ZX-6R, use a second ECU-controlled set of valves for smoother, more linear power delivery. Peak output stands at 38.4bhp at 11,000rpm and 26.1Nm at 10,000rpm.

The 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300's power on the is sent to the rear wheel through a 6-speed gearbox with a wet, multi-disc clutch. The clutch features an assist and slipper function that lightens lever pull and limits back-torque during aggressive downshifts. A radiator fan cover also redirects hot air away from the rider to improve comfort in traffic.

The 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 features a tubular diamond steel frame, suspended by a 37mm telescopic fork with 120mm of travel at the front. At the rear, a Uni-Trak monoshock with 5-way preload adjustment offers 132mm of travel.

Braking power on the 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes from petal discs at both ends, a 290mm rotor with a dual-piston caliper up front and a 220mm rotor with a dual-piston caliper at the back. The Ninja 300 rides on 17-inch wheels shod with tubeless tyres.

The 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 tips the scales at 179kg, and the seat height is 785mm. The Ninja 300 features a 17-litre fuel tank and 140mm of ground clearance round off the dimensions, while a forward-slanting seat and wide, raised handlebar are meant to suit a range of rider sizes.

Instrumentation on the 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 includes an analogue tachometer with a multi-function LCD screen showing the speedometer, clock, fuel gauge, dual trip meters, odometer and an Economical Riding Indicator.

The 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 remains a no-frills option for riders stepping into their first supersport, a fact aided by its bulletproof reliability, a rev-happy motor and strong tractability through the rev range.
