1. More Refined 'Katar' Engine

The Alpha 2 platform has now been updated with the next-generation Katar engine. It is a 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit that produces 29.5 bhp of power and 30 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features a new horizontal radiator grille along with an updated exhaust system for improved heat dissipation.

Previously, the Alpha 2 engine was known for vibrations and noise. However, the new Katar engine is claimed to be more refined, offering reduced vibrations, lower noise levels, and better thermal management.

2. New Electronics

The bike now gets a switchable traction control system with three modes, allowing riders to adapt to different riding conditions. It also features riding modes-Rain, Road, and Off-Road-for improved versatility. Additionally, the motorcycle comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, with the option to switch off the rear ABS for off-road riding.

3. Less Weight

The previous model received criticism for its weight, which affected rideability. Yezdi has addressed this by making the motorcycle 8 kg lighter than before. This has been achieved by removing one exhaust, converting it into a single-exhaust setup. The new upswept exhaust not only reduces weight but also improves overall ride and handling capability.

4. New Ergonomics

The riding position has been revised and is now more upright and comfortable. The chassis has been made stiffer to enhance high-speed stability, while the ground clearance stands at 200 mm. The updated seat also improves comfort, especially for longer rides.

5. Added Styling

Yezdi has introduced a new oval side panel with "69" graphics, paying tribute to the brand's rally heritage. The radiator guard has also been redesigned, adding a more distinctive look to the motorcycle. The Scrambler is now available in four new colour options: Legacy Black, OG Yellow, Rogue Red, and Rally Blue.
