2026 Vespa Primavera, Sprint S Revealed With New Tech & Updated Design
Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Vespa has updated the Primavera and Sprint S scooters for the 2026 model year in overseas markets, introducing design revisions and new technology features. The updates to the Primavera and Sprint S focus on enhancing the styling and connectivity of the scooters while retaining the core mechanical setup.
The 2026 Vespa Primavera and Sprint S receive updated visual elements, including new colour options and revised finishes. The Sprint S features sportier detailing, while the Primavera retains its classic styling approach.

New five-spoke 12-inch alloy wheels have been introduced as part of the update for both scooters. The Sprint S also gets revised side panels and grille elements, giving it a more aggressive appearance.
The updated Vespa 2026 Primavera and Sprint S feature a new LCD instrument cluster with improved readability. The system supports smartphone connectivity through Vespa's MIA platform, allowing access to calls, messages and ride data. Keyless ignition has also been introduced on higher-capacity variants, replacing the conventional key setup.

The 125cc variants of the 2026 Primavera and Sprint S now feature a rear disc brake in place of the earlier drum unit. This is combined with ABS, improving braking performance and overall safety. The scooters continue with their steel monocoque construction and standard suspension setup. Wheel sizes and overall chassis architecture remain unchanged.
The Primavera and Sprint S continue to be offered with multiple engine options depending on the market. These include 50cc and 125cc petrol engines, along with electric variants under the Vespa Elettrica range. The electric versions feature removable battery packs and are designed for urban commuting use cases.

The update to the 2026 Primavera and Sprint S aligns with Vespa's approach of evolving its core models through design and feature upgrades rather than major mechanical changes. Both the Primavera and Sprint S remain key products in Vespa's global lineup.
