New Update For 2026 KTM Duke 250 Revealed Overseas: India Launch Soon?

Austrian motorcycle brand and Bajaj-owned KTM Motorcycles has updated the 2026 Duke 250 with a new and attractive Silver colour option. This shade has already been revealed in international markets such as the United States, and the India-spec model is expected to receive it soon.

The KTM Duke 250 is one of the best-selling entry-level naked sports motorcycles in the Indian market. Over the years, the 250cc Duke has received multiple updates, with several design and feature elements borrowed from its elder sibling, the Duke 390.

New Colour Option in 2026 KTM Duke 250

The 2026 Duke 250 features refreshed graphics and visual updates, along with the new Silver colour in overseas markets. This new shade could be sold alongside the Ebony Black, which is currently the primary colour option for the Duke 250 in India.

At present, the KTM Duke 250 in India is available in Ebony Black, Electronic Orange, and Atlantic Blue. It remains to be seen whether KTM will introduce the Silver colour in India and whether it will retain all existing colour options.

The rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged, continuing with its muscular naked sport design. It features LED headlamps, a metal fuel tank, colour-injected body panels, thick split seats, edgy LED tail lamps, and class-leading rider ergonomics.

Powering the Duke 250 is the same LC4c engine, known for its smooth acceleration, refined performance, and improved gearbox. This single-cylinder, DOHC motor produces 31 PS of power and 25 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The KTM Duke 250 is equipped with WP Apex USD front forks, a side-mounted monoshock, premium alloy wheels, and a best-in-class braking system with Supermoto ABS. Technology highlights include a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and navigation support.

All these features are expected to be retained for the Indian version, and pricing is likely to remain unchanged. Currently, the KTM Duke 250 is priced at ₹2.12 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, and the addition of the Silver colour is unlikely to affect pricing. In the Indian market, the KTM Duke 250 competes with rivals such as the TVS Apache RTR 300, Suzuki Gixxer 250, Hero Xtreme 250, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 250.
