2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500 Launched - New Lime Green Colourway
For 2026, Kawasaki has introduced a fresh Lime Green paint scheme for the Ninja 500. The colour combination closely follows the styling seen on larger motorcycles in the Ninja family and gives the middleweight sportbike a sharper appearance.
The overall bodywork remains unchanged. The motorcycle continues to feature a twin-pod LED headlamp setup, aerodynamic fairing, muscular fuel tank and split-seat layout that were introduced with the current-generation Ninja 500.

2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500 Launched - Engine Updated For E20 Fuel
Power comes from the same 451cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. The motor is now certified to run on E20 fuel, allowing compatibility with petrol containing up to 20 percent ethanol.
The engine continues to produce 45.4PS of power and 42.6Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and retains the assist and slipper clutch offered on the outgoing model. Kawasaki has not made any performance-related changes. The Ninja 500 continues to be positioned as a sportbike that balances everyday usability with highway touring capability.

2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500 Launched - Features Remain Unchanged
Equipment levels are carried over from the previous model. The Ninja 500 continues with a fully digital LCD instrument console that supports smartphone connectivity through Kawasaki's Rideology application.
Other notable features include LED lighting, a USB Type-C charging port, dual-channel ABS and a slip-and-assist clutch. The motorcycle also retains its lightweight chassis and accessible ergonomics that have helped it appeal to newer riders upgrading from smaller-capacity machines.
2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500 Launched - Hardware Package
The Ninja 500 continues with telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS as standard.
